Project Background
This is the first step in my project to synthesize methyl salicylate from asprin tablets found in stores. Being an extraction, this experiment was not as chemistry-intensive as the future steps.

Results
After only one extraction, an adequate 59.72g of acetylsalicylic acid was collected.
